An Argument for Slavery - Which side are you on?

| | | |

These are the arguments defending the institution of slavery, made pre-Civil War. It's past time we look at the reasoning written within them and realize something very profound about our society:

CIVILIZATION! - *some restrictions apply

Oh this one's good... this one's REEEALLLLY GOOOOOD!

This is a film that nearly won the film shorts contest this month here in Tucson at the Loft Cinema. I think it should have won, but it sort of hit second. To me, this is brilliantly expressed. LOVE IT!!!

Some Restrictions Apply

This came really close to winning a short film contest last night here in Tucson, and it definitely had my vote. I was very happy to find it online and be able to share it here.

Only thing I know to do...

To raise money for the legal fund of the Jena 6, I've designed a t-shirt... each shirt will raise $5 that I'll then send to the defense fund. I doubt I'll raise much, but if it helps any, it's worth the effort... so tell people.

THE STUMBLING BLOCK - Killing Creation for the Love of the Creator

| | | | | |

For the past couple of months (I think) I've been hard at work on a film. Now, as some of you may know, I'd been making fun short films, such as The Value of a Human Life, which I'd posted here before. But it occurred to me to jump on board and do something HUGE.

A full-length movie... one that tells the entire store. Not just of how I'd learned all I did about religion, but how I came to be an Ishmael fan and come to understand the world as I do. I'd like to share that film with you all...

A Talk By Guy McPherson

| | | | |

Guy McPherson (http://ag.arizona.edu/~grm/) – MPH annual conference, Tucson, AZ (17 August 2007)

The invitation to speak today is quite an honor, and I appreciate the opportunity. It’s also quite a challenge, because I know so little about what you do. As I understand personal health, from my medical doctor, I should eat less and exercise more. I assume public health means everybody should eat less and exercise more. That’s about all I know about public health, and I assume it’s not quite the whole story.

So what IS the value of a HUMAN life?

| | | | |

made this video because it occured to me to use the rich's language about SUPPLY AND DEMAND to really set a true and real value for our species. I think it should either make people think, or piss off the right ones... tell me what ya think.

THE ATHEIST'S NIGHTMARE - are these guys for real?

| | | |

First, let me catch you up on the scenario: This is perhaps the funniest thing I've seen in a long time... Kirk Cameron and some idiot named Ray Comfort, trying to prove the creation of God using a banana for evidence.
