Ish Group - Puget Sound Area

Charlie (bbbleaver) and I just got together with our significant others and had our first Puget Sound Ish Group meeting today! We had a wonderful brunch of fritattas, fresh strawberries, banana nectarine smoothies, organic hot cocoa and rosemary bread, at their home. A friend of theirs from the Atlanta Ish Group happened to be staying with them and joined us as well. We're going to start meeting every two weeks to share good conversation and good food, establishing a local community of people with a shared common vision.
Since Charlie and his wife hosted the first "meeting," I would love to do the second one in two weeks. I was thinking of doing falafels at my house, but I can come up with another idea if people don't like falafels.
Something that I would like to see happen with this new group is gathering to do nature hikes or pot lucks at the beach - incorporating nature type activities into our routine. (Would you be up for that Charlie?)
I'm posting this to help other Seattle natives come out of the woodworks and join in on the fun.
PM me or bbbleaver to find out when and where the next gathering is.

Great!
This is very encouraging! The personal connections are what will make the transitions to a sustainable culture possible. Keep it up, don't lose the momentum. The colder months are perfect for local clan gatherings. I hope we all take this as a working example of "what to do".
Take Care,
Adam Hintz

Thanks
Thanks for introducing us, Adam. Who knows how long it would have been before we would have figured out that we live only a mile away from each other if you hadn't told us in the chatroom. I'm very grateful to you.

Good Luck
Good luck with your future gatherings!
