Awww fuckity fuck fuck. Need to vent.

I was having a Kerouac moment, and I was writing my whole book in one stroke. Whatever made me never think to not press "CTRL + S" is beyond me.

Out of Clever

I find myself with the crushing weight of trying to find a home for the person I am on the internet in my rather clouded personality field some call my brain. Certain things seem so obvious, and yet mere contemplation is painful.

Life, Changes

What's up friends?

A quick and dirty rundown of life for me:

Broke up with Sarah. The whole living closer to the earth thing just stressed her and her future babies out way to much to take it seriously. I would have been sad or upset had this happened to me a few years ago, but I'm mostly sad that she quit in order to continue to work hard and reap the benefits of being very close to the top of the pyramid. ANd perhaps, she'll become a queen bee, someday...

animals, prey, herds, protein factories

space, property, leases

eating to the season, food storage and preparation, grocery shopping

Finally!

Finally!

I didn't with the cold snap we'd ever find anything. Well, thanks to a few days of warm soil tempuratures, the first land fish have come ashore. Good eating tomorrow morning, with eggs from the farm, morels, and ramps (wild leeks) altogether in an omlette.

Notes from the field

I've been pretty busy  lately.

I have been visiting some of my favorite places to collect crystals and fossils and indian artifacts. It's been nice camping near the streambeds, watching the trees spring back to life.

New Ways of telling the Story

| | | | | | |

I'm excited to start from the first day the first yummy greens pop up on the forest floor. I'm looking forward to returning to a much more natural, seasonal diet. Foraging puts my restlessness to work. I anticipate writing a few short stories and begin work on a photo how-to manual of whatever it is that the land presents to me. I'm still really open to suggestions even thought I have a few items I want to document:
