Edgar Mitchell Video - An Epiphany in Space

Wanted to share some thoughts from one of my favorite astronauts, Edgar Mitchell.

It helps me at times to think about the Earth from far away. We're all so innocent. So connected to each other from out there. Changing perspective is certainly what Ish did for me. Space travel is like that for me as well. We aren't a culture, we're just this blue ball. Makes it feel childlike.

Into the Wild

I've just returned from a long visit of midwestern culture. While I was home, I saw
Into The Wild...... at the art house. Apparently the only place it was playing in INdianapolis.

I wondered who has seen this true story and what it made you feel?

Facing Fears

For now, I decided to come home and visit relatives in the midwest for a few weeks where no one recycles. No one I know has read Ishmael....but I love them anyway.
I get to be with family in Indiana while the pacific northwest becomes the state of low light.....but it's my home too...so green, so much nature you don't see til you leave and i'm scared of being away, but looking forward the beautiful midwest autum with family that I miss oh so much.

When the rememberence of what is a new truth makes you want to smoke pot and say screw it!

What do you do when you realize mother culture was not your mom and you ate at her tit? and now, well you have all this shit, stuff, debts, rankings etc and some band comes along makes you read this book that frankly i said "fuck, this really sucks now, thanks Superman for trying.
