10 Thousand Ways gathering
Hi, when is the 10k ways gathering this summer? I need exact dates because we're moving across the state, doing a roadtrip down to L.A., and planning on attending 10k ways all in the same month.

Hi guys!
Sorry I've been away for so long. Honestly, it's been an exceedingly difficult year. Money's been crazy tight; work is non-existent for a writer for the moment. And yet, some incredibly odd & wonderful times have occurred; My family's been in a documentary. We've gotten access to a 2400 square foot plot of land to do permaculture in. Our connections to this land and its people keep getting stronger.
It's difficult out here in Taker media central but I'm still here. 
Re: 10K Ways, I'm going to get a hold of Chuck this week by hook or by crook but the result is still the same. 10K Ways will happen. Best case scenario, we'll try for the 9th (thurs) to the 13th (Monday) -- at the wife's suggestion. If all goes well, I'll have the whole family up there + some more friends. I really, really REALLY look forward to seeing all of you again. I was just talking tonight to a friend about last year's gathering, about the camraderie and the food and the conversations. Other people on other lists are starting to talk about coming to this year. I'm excited...

Wow, August 10th through 13th? That's cutting pretty close to Feral Visions for me. I was hoping to go to both. Oh well, maybe I'll figure out some way.

Hey --
Far as I know, no one has heard from Bill or Chuck for months.... but tentatively this is what they had in mind:
For planning purposes, it will probably happen in the Ashland area from Friday the 10th of August, '07 to Monday the 13th of August, '07. Sunday night will be the height of the Persieds, and will also be a New Moon.
